Growing guide
- Sow: direct once soil reaches 21 C (70 F), 2 cm (3/4 in) deep, or start indoors 3-4 weeks early in pots
- Germination: 5-10 days at 24-30 C (75-85 F)
- Spacing: 90-120 cm (36-48 in) apart – vines need room to run
- Light: full sun, rich well-drained soil, deep watering
- Harvest: 75-95 days; reduce water as fruit nears ripeness to concentrate sugars
